Les Lieux-Dits
The historic plot approach applied in Puligny-Montrachet is transferred to Oger, where the Burgundian know-how of the Leflaive family finds its full meaning in the great Grands Crus terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. A true renaissance of the terroirs.
Launched in February 2024, this host of cuvées is part of the determination to produce Champagnes from specific locations in this search for transparency and the quest for the origin of taste. The adventure starts with four Champagnes, Oger Grand Cru Les Peignottes, Dizy Grand Cru Les Terres Rouges, Verzenay Grand Cru Les Correttes and Verzenay Grand Cru Les Marquises rosé. Other cuvées carefully selected with our partner winegrowers are being aged in our cellars and will expand this collection over the years.
Champagne de Lieux. Through the vineyards of the Côte de Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, Valentin Leflaive takes you on an experience where your taste buds grasp the purity and elegance of the great terroirs of Champagne while keeping one eye on the map.
In the 18th century, “the vineyard is a patchwork of districts, which are pieces of land identified by a name. The districts are thus fully comparable to the Climats of Burgundy”.
